When a lawyer comes to Jesus with a question about neighbours he gets a story in response. A story we have probably all heard before. A story we have turned into a cliche, the good Samaritan. It’s not that helping isn’t a good thing. It is. We should. But there’s a whole lot more to this than being nice.
